Income from membership fees help to cover essential administration costs and support the continued development of table tennis in Otago. The OTTA committee unanimously supports implementation of these fees as an important step in strengthening our association.
Why become an OTTA member?
Your OTTA membership allows you to:
- Play in all OTTA-run tournaments
- Be an affiliated member of the Otago Table Tennis Association
- Take part in Sunday morning training sessions at the Edgar Centre
- Membership will be a pre-requisite for squad training
- Compete in Table Tennis New Zealand (TTNZ) tournaments
- Access TTNZ programmes offered through associations, such as coaching and umpiring courses
How registration works
OTTA memberships will be managed through Sporty, our new membership management system, using a tiered membership model.
Membership fees for the remainder of 2026:
- Adult $40
- Concession (seniors, students, children) $20
- Life members $0
- Volunteers (non-playing members) $0

- If you’ve received an email invitation to register, simply complete the form, await the invoice, pay the fee, and your OTTA membership will be confirmed.
